Terms & Conditions

  1. The Promoter is Fujifilm (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. (“Promoters”, “We”).
  2. This contest is not sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Facebook. By participating in this contest, the participant provides information to Promoter, not to Facebook (including Instagram). Participant acknowledges and agrees that the participant completely releases Facebook from any liability which it might otherwise have incurred as a result of participating in this contest.
  3. The contest is open to all citizens (from any nationality) who hold a Malaysian residential address. Employees of Promoter, any business within Fujifilm Malaysia, their affiliates or anyone else professionally associated with this contest are expressly excluded from participating.
  4. It is a condition of entry that these terms and conditions are accepted and that the participant agrees to abide by these rules.
  5. This contest requires the participants to use Fujifilm Digital Cameras. Submissions generated by any other device will be disqualified from this contest.
  6. Late, incomplete, edited, invalid and/or corrupt entries will not be accepted. Entries deleted after the contest close time may not be accepted.
  7. No responsibility can be accepted for lost entries and proof of transmission will not be accepted as proof of receipt.
  8. The winner’s Facebook or Instagram profile image and name may be published on the promoter’s Facebook Page or Instagram Account at the end of the Contest Period at Promoter’s sole discretion.
  9. Promoter reserves the right at any time at its sole discretion to postpone, suspend, cancel or limit the contest and/or Terms and Conditions and for reasons beyond its reasonable control, and/or change or substitute the prizes, without liability or obligation to continue running the contest.
  • Any decisions made to make such changes will not require the Promoter to entertain correspondence, in any form.
  • If any fraud, technical failures or any other factor beyond Promoter’s reasonable control impairs the integrity or proper functioning of this contest, the Promoter will not accept responsibility for loss, damage and/or devaluation of property/reputation nor will the Promoter entertain any correspondence, in any form.

Submission Requirements:

  1. Submission Requirement: 1
    This contest requires participants to upload an originally-generated photographic image. This photograph must be applied with use of the “CLASSIC CHROME” filter within the Fujifilm Film Simulation function.
    • The participant may choose to upload on his/her personal feed/timeline either in Facebook or Instagram. Submissions uploaded through Instagram Stories or Facebook Stories will not be considered as participation to this contest – However, uploading the submission to the Instagram Feed or Facebook Timeline is sufficient to this contest’s requirements. It is therefore recommended that the participant reviews his/her social media account privacy settings so that Promoter may have sufficient access to capture the participant’s submission.
    • The uploaded photographic image should be generated by the participant him/her-self. This contest will allow photographic submissions that have been captured/generated by devices which exist outside of the Fujifilm brand.
    • Should the uploaded photographic contain person(s) who do not identify themselves as the Participant, the Promoter is not responsible for any loss, damage, devaluation of properties/reputation nor will the Promoter adhere to any claims highlighted by such person(s). It therefore advised that the Participant seek official consent from such person(s) prior to uploading the submission.
    • Should the uploaded photographic contain symbols, icons or representations of entities, organizations, brands and/or programmes, the Promoter is not responsible for any loss, damage, devaluation of properties/reputation nor will the Promoter adhere to any claims highlighted by such parties. It therefore advised that the Participant seek official consent from such parties prior to uploading the submission.
    • The uploaded photographic image should refrain from including the following, else the submission will be entirely deemed as unqualified:
      • Representations which is profound in nature or contains references to profanity, regardless of the level of severity.
      • Representations which, in any form, refers to controversies/negative sentiment surrounding politics, commerce, sciences, religion, sexual orientation, culture and/or society.
      • Representations which, in any form, refers to entities, brands, organizations, self-enterprises, and/or programmes that exist outside of the Fujifilm brand.

    • This contest also requires participants to include the following hashtag and handle tag:
      • #homeinchrome
      • @fujifilmmy
    • The tags must be inserted within the upload description or the participant’s post comments.
    • The participant is free to provide additional descriptions, however this contest will only allow descriptions presented in written English, written Bahasa Melayu or written Chinese. Any use of other written languages will deem the submission as disqualified.
    • Any inclusion of the following will be render the submission as entirely disqualified from the contest:
      • Use of language or references that are profound in nature.
      • References to controversies/negative sentiment that are political, social, cultural, religious, sexual, religious and/or commercial in nature.
      • References of organizations, brands, entities, self-enterprises and/or programmes that exist within the Fujifilm brand.
  1. Participants must complete all above submissions by 21 JUN 2019, 11:59PM.
  2. Promoter has extensive rights to use submissions (including the submitted photographic assets) for their promotional and non-promotional purposes – this includes the right to adapt, publish, print, promote and/or share the respective assets infinitely and indefinitely, without the need to fulfil any conditions and/or face any repercussions.
  3. The winner will be announced on 26 JUN 2019 on the Promoter’s Facebook page and Instagram account.
  4. The Promoter will select a single winner based on creativity, quality, originality and compliance to the above submission requirements.
  5. The winner will then be contacted by Promoter’s representatives – these communications will initiate through social media and/or e-mail.
    • Further details of the winner may be requested by the Promoter and failure to provide such details may deem the participant as forfeited the contest entirely. Should this occur, Promoter is then eligible to grant winner status to alternative participants of the contest.
    • Promoter may also request for the winner to submit a high-resolution copy of the raw file of their submission to fmal.digital@fujifilm.com.
      • The email should also include the winner’s contact information, postal delivery address, and the URL to their social media-published submission.

Prize Details

  1. The prize will be in the form of a RM2,000.00 cash voucher code, applicable for use within the Promoter’s official Lazada and Shopee stores:

  4. The promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize with an alternative prize of equivalent value or amend the competition without notice. No correspondence will be entered into.
  5. The Prize has no exchangeable value and it cannot be sold, transferred, or exchanged for cash, or combined with any other offer, promotions or discount.
  6. The delivery duration of the prize is subject to the available services and commitment of the courier selected by the Promoter. Whilst undergoing delivery or transit, the Promoter will not be held liable for any damage, hinderance, loss or claim of injury caused by the transiting Prize.
  7. Winner may be subject to additional terms and conditions. Such terms and conditions will be issued to the winners upon the Promoter’s initiated contact with the winners.
  8. By receipt of the prize, Winner agrees to release and hold harmless the Promoter and their respective subsidiaries, affiliates, suppliers, distributors, advertising/promotion agencies, and prize suppliers, and each of their respective parent companies and each such company’s officers, directors, employees and agents (collectively, the ‘Released Parties’) from and against any claim or cause of action, including, but not limited to, personal injury, death, or damage to or loss of property, arising out of participation in this competition or receipt or use or misuse of the prize.
  9. The promoter will use reasonable endeavors to contact winner to seek confirmation of the prize. However, if the Promoter does not receive notification of acceptance of the prize from the winner by 30 JULY 2019, the winner is taken to have surrendered prize, and any claims to the prize, altogether.
